D’arte is the main retail brand of Unique Trading.

Founded in 1983, Unique Trading is the leading provider of footwear in Thailand, retailing through three main footwear brands: D'arte, selling fashionable shoes and bags, Maria Pia, specializing in women’s daily footwear, and Bio Soft, which focuses and comfort and health.

The company’s products are sold in more than 150 major department stores in Thailand. The company runs over 60 stores, but they have the ambitious goal of a 100 store-chain by 2025.

D’arte had been using an outdated, local software system for 10 years. The company encountered many problems:

Information access was slow and complex.
Front- and back-office systems couldn’t communicate, so collecting data from each store was time consuming.
The company couldn’t monitor daily revenue, because the system did not support this functionality.
Replenishment had to be done manually for each store, which led to mistakes and confusion.

The solution

D’arte decided they needed a unified software that would enable them to get the data visibility they needed. The selected LS Central as the best solution to fulfill their needs.

The project was managed by AVision, a local LS Retail partner with proven, long-term expertise in retail software implementations. AVision committed to go-live within one year, with all stores going live in one single day. Eventually, the D’arte stores managed to go live in just seven months.
