Nick Rutten, Functional Application Manager at Stromma, shares his thoughts on why they chose LS Retail software solutions to manage their business operations and sales both in-store and on-the-go.

Stromma operates a number of stores as well as tour buses and canal cruise boats in 6 countries. In Amsterdam they have 13 different shops, where they use the LS Retail Point of Sale system, including mobile POS.mPOS are especially useful when they need to sell on-the-go, for example on boats and buses. "It's wireless and connected to a payment device. Overall using LS Retail POS system helped improving customer service and transaction speed" says Nick Rutten, Functional Application Manager at Stromma "and we are very satisfied with our choice".

The implementation took less than three months. Stromma can now easily manage and accept various types of payments, from vouchers, to cash to credit/debit cards. The system can also handle multiple currencies, which was a key requirement for Stromma.
Staff training time got also much faster and simpler. Thanks to the centralized software system, the headquarter decides what the sales staff can see and do, minimizing errors and keeping sales data precise and accurate.
